Hyundai Equus: Fuel Filter Repair procedures

Second generation VI (2009â€“2026) / Hyundai Equus VI 2009-2026 Service Manual / Engine Control/Fuel System / Fuel Delivery System / Fuel Filter Repair procedures

Removal

1.	Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.

2.	Release the residual pressure in fuel line. (Refer to Fuel Delivery System -"Release Residual Pressure in Fuel Line")

3.	Remove the fuel pump. (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "Fuel Pump")

4.	Remove the sub fuel sender. (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "Sub Fuel Sender")

5.	Disconnect the suction hose (A).

6.	Remove the head assembly (C ) after removing the fixing hook (B).

7.	Disconnect the dual hose (A).

8.	Release the fixing hook, and then remove the free filter (A) and fuel pump motor (B).

9.	Remove the over pressure valve assembly (B) from the fuel filter after release the fixing hook (A).

Installation

1.	Install in the reverse order of removal.
