Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

Using a screwdriver or plastic panel remover, remove the cluster fascia upper panel (A). |
3. |
Using a screwdriver or plastic panel remover, remove the center fascia upper panel (A). |
4. |
Disconnect the heater control unit connector (A), clock and SSB connector (B). |
5. |
After loosening the screws, remove the heater control unit (A) from the center fascia upper panel. |
Installation |
1. |
Install the heater control unit to the center fascia upper panel. |
2. |
Install the center fascia upper panel. |
3. |
Install the cluster fascia upper panel. |
Inspection |
1. |
The rear window defogger switch inputs can be checked using the GDS. |
2. |
To check the input value of rear window defogger switch, select option "IPM". |
3. |
Select option "Input/output monitoring". |
4. |
To check the input value of rear window defogger switch in force mode, select option "ACTUATION TEST". |
