Removal
   
•
Before replacing the relevant parts, use GDS equipment to fully discharge the air from the relevant parts.
(Refer to Air Suspension System - "Repair procedures (Air Injection Procedure)")
•
Be careful when handling the rear air spring, as the lack of structural reinforcement inside the bellows makes it susceptible to bending or stretching if subjected to external forces.
•
When removing an air strut, remove the air connector before proceeding with any other work.
•
Make sure that the orientation of the upper and lower part does not twist during assembly.
•
Check the cleanliness of each part after it is moved. (check for any foreign substances).
•
Ensure that the air injection connector includes a cap that prevents the introduction of foreign substances.
Air Spring
1.
Remove the rear wheel & tire.
Tightening torque :
90.0 ~ 110.0 N.m(9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.0 ~ 80.0 lb-ft)
2.
Remove the air tube (A).

   
Take car due to the high pressure air in the spring is discharged.
3.
Remove the stabilizer link (A) & height sensor (B).

4.
Loosen the cam bolt (A).

5.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
   
•
Take care not to twist upper and lower.
•
After transportaion, check the cleanliness.
•
Check the cap which prevents entering foreign materials on the connector of air filling portion.
•
Take care due to it is bended or defamed easily by external force.
Coil spring
1.
Remove the rear wheel & tire.
Tightening torque :
90.0 ~ 110.0 N.m (9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.0 ~ 80.0 lb-ft)
2.
Loosen the nut(A) and then remove the stabilizer link.
Tightening torque :
50.0 ~ 65.0 N.m (5.0 ~ 6.5 kgf.m, 36.0 ~ 47.0 lb-ft)

3.
Loosen the nut and then remove the height sensor(A).
Tightening torque :
4.0 ~ 6.0 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 3.0 ~ 4.0 lb-ft)

4.
Loosen the bolt (A), nuts (B), flange bolt (C), lock nuts (D) and then remove the lower arm.
Tightening torque :
Axle : 140.0 ~ 160.0 N.m (14.0 ~ 16.0 kgf.m, 101.0 ~ 116.0 lb-ft)
Damper : 140.0 ~ 160.0 N.m (14.0 ~ 16.0 kgf.m, 101.0 ~ 116.0 lb-ft)

5.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
6.
Check the alignment.
