Removal the front wheel & tire.
Tightening torque :
90.0 ~ 110.0 N.m(9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.0 ~ 80.0 lb-ft)

Removal the air strut assembly.
(Refer to air strut assembly.) |
| 3. |
Disconnect the upper arm (A) with the air strut assembly bracket (B) by loosening the bolt.
Tightening torque :
100.0 ~ 120.0 N.m(10.0 ~ 12.0 kgf.m, 72.0 ~ 87.0 lb-ft)

Installation is the reverse of removal. |
Replacement the front upper arm
| 1. |
Remove the rear wheel & tire.
Tightening torque :
90.0 ~ 110.0 N.m(9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.0 ~ 80.0 lb-ft)

Disconnect the rear front upper arm (A) from the rear axle by loosening the bolt & nut.
Tightening torque :
120.0 ~ 140.0 N.m(12.0 ~ 14.0 kgf.m, 87.0 ~ 101.0 lb-ft)

Disconnect the rear front upper arm (A) from the rear sub frame by loosening the bolt & nut.
Tightening torque :
120.0 ~ 140.0 N.m(12.0 ~ 14.0 kgf.m, 87.0 ~ 101.0 lb-ft)

Installation is the reverse of removal. |
Replacement the rear upper arm
| 1. |
Remove the rear wheel & tire.
Tightening torque :
90.0 ~ 110.0 N.m(9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.0 ~ 80.0 lb-ft)

Disconnect the rear upper arm (B) from the rear axle by loosening the split pin & nut (A).
Tightening torque :
80.0 ~ 90.0 N.m(8.0 ~ 9.0 kgf.m, 58.0 ~ 65.0 lb-ft)

Disconnect the rear upper arm from the rear carrier using a SST (09568-2J100). 
|
| 4. |
Disconnect the rear front upper arm (A) from the rear sub frame by loosening the flange bolt & lock nut.
Tightening torque :
120.0 ~ 140.0 N.m(12.0 ~ 14.0 kgf.m, 87.0 ~ 101.0 lb-ft)

Installation is the reverse of removal.

Do not use the lock nuts again. |
|

Check the bushing for wear and deterioration. |
| 2. |
Check the ball joint for rotating torque. |
