1.
Body Network System
The CAN communication network for this vehicle is composed of three types of CAN: Body CAN, Chassis CAN and Multimedia CAN.
The followings are the modules that comprise each CAN. The body network system is about a network module composed of double body CANs.
2.
Can Communition Network
(1)
The basic body CAN network is composed of the following modules.
A.
Body Control Module (BCM), Driver Door Module (DDM), Assist Door Module (ADM), Multi-Function Switch (MFSW), Steering Wheel Remote Controller (SWRC), Smart Junction Box (SJB), Power Seat Module (PSM), Smart Key unit (SMK)
(2)
The additional body CAN network in line with the vehicle's option is composed of the following modules.
A.
Power Trunk Module (PTM), Steering Column Module (SCM), Armrest Switch (ARS), Assist Power Seat Module (APSM), Head Up Display (HUD)

3.
Body Control Module (BCM)
The Body Control Module (BCM) is the main module at the highest level among the modules connected via Body CAN Communication and it supports self-diagnosis for each module, sensor output and actuator testing functions in conjunction with the diagnostic tool (GDS) and Chassis CAN communication.
(Refer to "Body Control Module(BCM)")
