Hyundai Equus: B Pillar Garnish Repair procedures

Replacement

[B Pillar upper garnish]

•	Put on gloves to protect your hands.

•	When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.

•	Take care not to scratch the body surface.

1.	Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the B pillar upper garnish (A).

2.	Disconnect the rubber (A) screw loose.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

•	Replace any damaged clips.

•	Integrated silicon coating on the surface of the tube. (MS261-13)

[B Pillar lower garnish]

•	Put on gloves to protect your hands.

•	When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.

•	Take care not to scratch the body surface.

1.	Remove the canter pillar lower trim. (Refer to Interior Trim - "Center Pillar Trim")

2.	Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the B pillar upper garnish (A).

3.	Disconnect the rubber (A) screw loose.

4.	Loosen the mounting nuts, remove the B pillar lower garnish (A).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

•	Replace any damaged clips.

•	Integrated silicon coating on the surface of the tube. (MS261-13)
