Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable. |

Remove the engine cover. |

Remove the air cleaner assembly.

Remove the air duct (A). |

Disconnect the breather hose (B). |

Loosen the clamp (C) and then disconnect the air intake hose from the throttle body. |

Remove the chamber air cleaner (D) and air cleaner assembly (E).

Turn the tensioner (B) clockwise and loosen, then remove the drive belt (A).

Remove the oil level gauge (A).

Remove the alternator.

Disconnect the alternator connector (A) and cable (B) from the ‘B’ terminal.

Loosen the alternator mounting bolts (A) and then remove alternator from the vehicle.

Install in the reverse order of removal. |
| 2. |
Adjust the alternator belt tension after installation.

26.5 ~ 33.3 Nm (2.7 ~ 3.4 kgf.m, 19.5 ~ 24.6 Ib-ft)
