Restriction removal conditions: The ACC is on while the engine is off. If the engine is on, the gear shifter is in the P position (automatic).

Since the premium AVN has a digital interface, you should use an authentic cable, such as the one that comes with your iPod or iPhone.
2.
Connect the device using an authentic cable.
3.
Update the iPod to the latest software.
4.
Check the USB signals of the USB cable and AUX terminal.

Unable to establish a Bluetooth connection.
1.
The Bluetooth signal is low.
2.
A shielding substance is located near the Bluetooth antenna
1.
Since not all Bluetooth devices are supported, use a compatible device to establish the connection.
2.
Remove any factors that may lower the signal reception of the Bluetooth antenna.

The system does not recognize the external AUX device.
1.
The USB cable connection between the AVN Head Unit and the AUX terminal is faulty or damaged.
2.
The AUX terminal is faulty.
3.
The USB cable is disconnected.
1.
Connect any disconnected parts and repair or replace any damaged parts.
2.
Replace the AUX terminal to determine if it is faulty.
3.
If the USB cable is not connected, the AUX terminal does not receive any power and cannot transfer AUX signals.

The navigation voice guide does not work.
1.
The connection between the AVN and the digital amp is faulty.

The digital amp is faulty.

Check the configuration of the navigation voice guide.
4.
Check the output from the 42 pin connector on the AVN Head Unit.

Check the connector and its connection, and then check for disconnected cables.

Replace the digital amp.

Check whether the voice guide volume is set to '0' or mute in the navigation menu.

Check whether the A13 and A12 pins of the 42 pin connector behind the AVN Head Unit receive the voice guide signal. (This is an analog signal, so measure it using an oscilloscope.)
Set the navigation volume to hear the navigation voice guide while the vehicle is stationary.
No sound is output via an MP3, DivX.
1.
The connection between the AVN and the digital amp is faulty.
2.
The digital amp is faulty.
3.
Check the AV sound configuration.
4.
Check the output from the 42 pin connector on the AVN Head Unit.
1.
Check the connector and its connection, and then check for disconnected cables.
2.
Replace the digital amp (the amp is located on the right side of the trunk.)
3.
Check whether the AV volume is set to '0' or mute.
4.
Check whether the A6 and A15 pins of the 42 pin connector behind the AVN Head Unit produce an SPDIF output. (This is a Differential signal, so measure it using an oscilloscope.)
Check the signals while the media is on.
Voice recognition does not work.
1.
The system fails to receive a signal input from the microphone.
2.
The microphone power is faulty.
3.
The microphone unit is faulty.
1.
Check the connection between the AVN and the microphone. (Head Unit 42 pin connector MIC MIC+(B10), MIC-(B22))
2.
Ensure that the B10 pin of the 42P connector behind the AVN Head Unit has a voltage of 3-4 V.
3.
Replace the microphone unit, and then perform the test again.

The button light does not turn on.
1.
The partial light does not turn on.
2.
The light does not turn on entirely.
1.
Replace the LED for the button.
2.
Check ILL+ (A8) and ILL- (A17) on the wiring diagram.

The camera display only shows a blue screen.

Faulty camera
2.
Unable to connect the PGS/AVM and the camera.
3.
Check the camera video signal HU input line.

Replace the camera.
2.
Check the camera connection, and then check for any disconnected wires.
3.
Check the input line (42p connector A2 and A3) of the Head Unit and the camera signal.

The rear camera does not work when the gear shifter is in the R position.

Check the CAN communication signal. Check pins 6 and 15 of the connector behind the Monitor unit.

The rear monitor does not display anything.

Check all of the video cable connections.

Check the Video Distributer power (B+ (pin 1) and ACC (pin 2)). Check the video cable connection.
5.
Check whether the rear monitor is "OFF" in the AVN system configuration menu.
